I really like the balance of a 10" M4. It is so much more maneuverable.
    RRA Upper/Lower
    10.5" Barrel
    Chrome bolt
    CMC 3.5 Trigger
A.R.M.S Handguard & rear flipup (Dont get it..its very heavy)
Aimpoint Comp ML2 (I think they call it the Patrol nowadays)
    LaRue Cantalever Mount
    Magpul Stock
    Silencerco flash hider

    With the can

It’s an 11.5” “commando” upper. You can buy new A3 Colt 6933 flattop uppers and add a handle, or you can probably find some A2 fixed handle uppers pretty cheap second hand. I don’t know that Colt still makes it with the fixed handle, but maybe.

Thanks for the info. I really want to build one of these. Probably make it a proper SBR. I like how it's kinda old school, but short if that makes since.

    Because upgrades!

Couldn't pass up on a used ATPIAL, and now white phosphor is in the near future. :anonymous:
Added a Vendetta Precision hand stop, Cloud Defensive pressure switch mount, Arisaka light w/ Midwest Industries mount.
Waiting on a FDE bolt carrier group from BCM.
    Still waiting on the Recce7.

Post up or PM when you get the Recce, I like my Optimus but will be getting a dedicated 7.62 can after I get a Recce 5 and possibly a smaller rimfire can.
Of course all of that is going to wait until after I SBR another lower and buy or build a house.

That is an ATPIL PEQ-15 laser, or an older version of that. Does viz, and IR, as well as flood. The condition makes me wonder where it came from..... (Que suspicious eyes in signature....)

Will do. Only other one I would've been interested in is the Surefire Mini2 due to length and I like the Warcomp. I hear the Deadair Sandman line is pretty nice too.

It's a 10 year old full-power ATPIAL/PEQ-15 unit. Guy had a bunch of them from a contractor group. I assume they dumped/replaced their inventory because the units had exceeded their warranty period. Still works perfectly. Costs a little more than the Class 1 version, but it's worth it because I don't like the Class 1 ATPIAL since the IR flood adjustment ring is epoxied in place.
