well, I can't get up that way till then :(

Otherwise I'd love to help with the clutch. I've never messed with one and would like to learn.

Hell yeah. It was not fun doing my t-case swap on the ground. Lucky for me the case isn't heavy.

Nice! New libations in the taco is always a good thing. We give our trucks some gear beer every now and then and they'll take us everywhere we point 'em.

Yeah, I missed seeing it for the 30k service so figure I should at least have it done before jambo. I've never done it before so I'll look into it tonight before tackling it for my first time. I'm expecting it to be more or less as easy as it sounds.

The worst part is removing skids. It's pretty easy to fill the diffs if you use the right tools... use a quality transfer pump, and if you can only get a cheap one I recommend adding an extra zip tie or hose clamp to the tube where it attaches to the pump, and that will prevent it from coming off. Ask me how I found that out the hard way once... lol ECGS recommends some thick ass gear oil.

I'll have to see what I can get for a pump. I was actually just talking to my buddy and realized the skids were going to be in the way. It should make cleaning the skids off easily though. Probably have a bunch of dirt on them. Might even leave them off and touch the paint up. Hopefully toyota's isn't too thick. Thanks for the tips!

Me got problems. Went to start the truck after a few days of driving the car. Starts fine, throttle won't respond, check engine light on........here we go. Deep water playing hell.

It's probably just oxygen sensors gone from cold water hitting them while hot, but I am expecting the worst.

Well on a side note. I found a d4d common rail in Dallas for not much....wonder how much a good running 2tr-fe with transmission and transfer case is worth?
