The ShiftSense Pro fixes 80% of the drivability issues in town. But the interstate shifting is beyond maddening - a transmission shifting like that is just not going to last.

Not to mention that i just plain don't drive the truck. I prefer to drive my dad's 2008 Chrysle Sebring while he is in Florida. That truly says it all.

Yea, I have nearly 15k miles on mine and I bought last June. It does hunt a little but I've learned to teach it to do what I want it to. It has 2 overdrive gears so I know they are there and that it will drop back. It's a shame it isn't perfect because otherwise as a whole it would be.

I had a brand new Dodge diesel 2500 once. Never towed with it. The Tranny went up at 83k miles. Ford is a good truck, always will be. I think for every 1 bad Tacoma there are 999 more that are good.

The 4Knines covers are awesome quality for the price. My Doberman is pretty rough on it and still no issue with wear after about a year and a half. Highly recommended.

You could get a Tundra a lot cheaper. They don't hunt for gears.

I am getting blown up by people having this issue. It's a shame. Toyota should step up like they did with their frame issues.

I want the one with the Taco! :pout:

I downloaded one called Roll Me Over, top rated free, and it was very lame. There is a Pro Version of another one but the reviews are not so hot and it is 2.99
I think either the Pro's or the Off Roads have this built into the center console info display on the dash. Toyota drives me crazy with their tech sometimes. My 2014 4Runner Trail actually showed the direction of the front tires. Why can't all their vehicles have all the same tech?! :frusty:

Hmmm, I've never scrolled down on mine, at the tire pressure screen, but I am guessing this is an Off Road only feature, and isn't available on the Sport.
