That’s pretty messed up how close the parking spots are to the loading dock. Poor layout planning.

Yeah, it is not ideal, but when the trailers are parked correctly, there is a good bit of room. Usually there is about 10+ feet between that spot and the trailers... I normally park where that white subaru is, and even then I'm not super confident about it.

I park in the other lot now. I'll take the extra walk.

I decided to be the martyr to bring it up to our EH&S guy and HR yesterday. Apparently this is a serial occurance, so something needs to be done.

With the lead times on most bumpers, It gives me plenty of time to save up.

I'm saved halfway to a suspension upgrade that was in the works already, I'll just need to spec some different coils when I get the front ordered/built. Piecing the rest together as we speak. I'm going to pick up some rear shocks from a friend tonight. They're blue... :D

Sorry about your truck, you're doing great taking it all in stride and not losing your head over it. We do have a great Taco base here in UT - good luck with the fixes & especially the upgrades

At some point, you just gotta ruck up and deal with it. Not happy about it, but we don't have time machines.

I've never been a fan of losing my shit at people either as it seems counter productive. I'm usually the silent, make you sweat type.

Dude, if I worked there, I’d probably be parking down the street instead of parking that close to a loading dock. Either that or I’d Uber and keep my tacoma in my garage. Lol.

We have plenty of lots, just by the time I get to work, all the spots are taken by the day production shiift, and 3rd shift hasn't quite left yet.

I would be so bummed out. Good thing it’s just a materialistic thing. Be sure to get all OEM parts and when you get the estimate make sure they have a 3 Dimensional measuring system like a cheif machine or something well known to measure all the front end point on the truck. Just to make sure everything is straight and within manufacturer spec. Aftermarket add ons will be nice but make sure the front end is measured properly.

Since it happened over 1 1/2 years ago, I would hope he has it fixed by now.

Yeah @Gunshot-6A you should really consider getting a steel bumper when this is in the shop

But I did compromise...I didn't want the weight of a full bumper but did want a winch and recovery ability. @usoffroad makes a hell of a product!

And it'll snatch a trophy truck outta the sand like it owed it money
