One thing to not is that a lot of the mod threads out there have it relocated to the gas cap, which is what I have. This is harder to get to due to the fact that the newer 2nd gens don't have those cubbies at the front of the bed. You can still access that area by reaching through the wheel well and pulling back the plastic in there, unless you remove the plastic but I decided not to. The problem with this is that it is a very tight space to work in and I had to connect the hose all by feel. It was a pain to slide the hose onto the breather and get the clamp on but it can be done. Another option would be to relocate it to the rear cubbies. Not as high but still good.

I didn't bother with the gas filler location, I routed mine up behind the driver's side tail light. Easy as pie.

@Sociopenguin relocated his on his 3rd gen to behind the taillight so I may consider that if I feel the filler area is too much of a challenge.

I wish I had thought of that before I cut up my arm. The hose hasn't fall off so that is where it will remain for the time being.

I was planning on going to the 29th Fluid Film Meet but work came up. If there is something going on this weekend I'd like to hop on that if possible.

I don't trust the dealers for much. I prefer to do it myself because I know it is done right.

I have the wheelers 3leaf aal with overload in. Sits little higher in the back with a 2 1/2” lift on the front but when I loaded up for camping with the trailer it sat a little lower in the back so I put firestone ride rites on and now I can air it up level or more if I want. Keep them at about 5psi when I’m not towing and they are great.

285 70 r17 and the wheels are 17x9.5 I believe with a -18mm offset. I didn't lift the rear and only have a 2in leveling up front. That's what required all the trimming. Everything else is stock like control arms.

I would suggest behind the drivers side tail light, was easy to get to and I only drilled a small hole to zip tie.image.jpg

    A thing or two...
I've got a Demello bumper on mine. I like it.

Get rid of the bend near where it bolts to the frame. Just have it come out straight. That bend it going to want to straighten out under load and will be an eventual failure point.

So I fueled up today and the actual mileage is 15.16 mpg. It's still not bad for pulling a trailer at 70 mph. I figured 25 was high.
