Mine floats back and forth between the 2. Just do 5qts and then maybe a 1/4qt at a time and checking till it stays at the max line

I am a fan of dirt racing, and sad to see it as a dying American pass time....
but this is more like one prolonged drift, not enough pendulum drift!!!

First vehicle I had was a lowered 2001 F150 that made around 300 hp and could slide corners quite well, then I bought my 2001 Cobra and put drag radials on it and it could power slide a corner but it'd hook up randomly so it was sketchy. Now with the Tacoma it'll only slide in the snow and gravel roads.

You probably have a cable driven speedo, uhh good luck. That thing isn't fun to replace,

I do have a cable driven one. It was working fine. Could the gears inside have not matched up? And should I replace the two tablespoons of oil? That shouldn't be causing this

The gauge cluster itself uses a magnet rotated by the cable to move so it likely isn't the broken part but the cable sometimes can snap after it goes long enough. You can take the cluster out and see if the end of the cable is spinning when you go for a drive.

If I take the cable off of the gear assembly, I can feel where the end of the cable lines up, and unless I'm stopping in exactly the same place each time, it doesn't seem to be rotating. I definitely needed to use a bit more force to get it in compared to how the whole assembly just came right out.

The FRS to me is just underwhelming, needs more power, although it’s more of an autocross style car to start with. Lexus does have some quicker cars, I was looking more are the Supra side of everything. I’ve said it before, Toyota could reproduce the MKIV Supra right now and sell out of them instantly.

I'd think about it buuuut In state tuition> Out of state... even though they both suck.
The only reason I as thinking about Mesa is because its closeish to home, which isn't a big deal.
