I'm sorry cannot help. My audio installer did everything. The only thing he could not do was connect the XM antenna into the Shark fin on top. So he went with putting the XM antenna on the middle of the dash close to the bottom of the windshield. Not really noticeable and works. I know this don't give you the answer your looking for. Good luck.

I would maybe someone else can help you out. Look for someone on TW that did the install themselves and start a conversation with them.

Here is the head unit I installed yesterday. It’s a JVC R920BTS, and I’m still learning all the buttons. I have a Boss Riot amp and Sony Xplode sub to install, but was having a hell of a time getting the power cable into the cab through the firewall. If anyone has some suggestions I’d love to hear them.

    Anyone have a Pioneer AVIC7200-NEX ?

I just replaced my 7100 with a 7200 after it got stolen.... But installer did a terrible angle. Aiming up, not straight back like before.

Is that because of the dash kit or the way they installed the stereo? Can I easily change it so it's angled better... Like before ?

My Pioneer P4100 looked like your old one installed. The new one should be able to be installed the same way.

Yeah they didn't do very good with the install IMO. Pop it out and make some adjustments, it should only be 4-6 screws.

Someone else said I can't change it cuz the dash kit type.. so I'm not sure now.

If that's the case I might just buy a new dash kit and redo the whole thing

You can adjust the angle of the HU. That's why I liked the Scosche kit vs metra. It just seemed to fit/look better.
