Came out of my truck today to find my spare tires missing and one of my shocks stolen and the other one almost out. It looks like they brought a fucking angle grinder!!! In so pissed. If anyone sees a single fox 2.5 double bypass shock for sale I think I know where it came from. Or if anyone sees 2 fresh never touched dirt 33x12.5x15 ko2s those are mine too. Faaackkkk!!!!!!

I am definitely angry. The definition of bummed out thats for sure.

My apartment complex is under construction so they had us all park in a lot away from where we usually park. Of course this happens when I move my truck and park there over night.

I'd be talking with the property management office in that case - it's not like you were parking in a different spot of your own accord. There's a possibility that wouldn't have happened if you had parked where you had been parking at your complex.

yep. they're supposed to provide a safe parking environment when under construction. They failed you as a tenant.

Just goes to show that if thieves want your shit, they're going to get your shit no matter how many locks or whatnot you put back there. When I was living in Tucson I had both my spares stolen one night, thankfully they stashed them in the alley behind the house and I found them before they could pick them up. After that I started locking them with a cable lock. I had the cable lock, just the cable lock, stolen 6 times that year.

Does the magic 52.5 only apply to Ext cab?
I’m looking at what it would take to convert my DC to SUA and I can’t seem to find a DCSB that clearly states using the 52.5 rule.

Being is though it was a grab and go did you check the surrounding area for a stashing spot like @tubbsisland mentioned? If they were on foot it would be hard to take off with 2 spares and a shock. Might not hurt to look around the area. Might get lucky. :notsure:

    Same frame between the two.
The 52.5 is more about spring performance.
It's just a good starting point that works.
I can't elaborate more right now.

Welp, finally happened to me. Swapping out all bolts on the truck next week (driveway til then). Pulling out of a parking spot at the grocery store, bout halfway out and heard a bang and front of the truck dropped. Called Camburg on the spot and got the bolt size, had a buddy pick one up for me from Home Depot, luckily keep all my tools and jacks in the truck, only had to sit in the lot for 2 hours, frozen food was ok by the time i got home ;).

    Lower Arm Uniball bolt sheared.
