LOL. On Friday, I'll be in Brandywine, MD around lunch time. Then I need to be up to Sterling, VA by 1430. I'll probably be there for an hour or two. Then heading back home, so I'll be in/near NoVA.

No problem. Call ahead of time to make sure they have it. I called all the places around me and none of them had one when I first tried to do my u-joints. That's why I bought it.

 

I will if I get under there this weekend. 4cyl and pretty stock!

 

Anyone want to do a day trail ride on Sat? I'm in Nova, but can go as far as Harrisonburg or something. I need to get the taco dirty and get away from coding for a bit! too much side work lately and no time to see daylight!

 

I"m down for a camping trip too, just need to get away and back into nature for a while.

Yeah it's a relaxing trail. Tasker's Gap is right down the road from it too.

 

So, apparently my truck is mad at me. Both headlights are out, turn signal is hyper blinking (but not when I use the hazards, wtf?!) Guess I have some troubleshooting to do...... Good thing I have a working solar panel......

 

Yeah so if your hyper blinking it's your DTRL. Hazards bypass the flasher module that the normal left and right turn signals go through. So either one of them are out and it's letting you know or like mei switched to LEDs and it did it (less power draw making the computer think they went bad) and I had to shave off some metal (I could have thrown in an inline resistor but I said fuck it)

 

Yea I figured, and I do have LEDs, but i have the resistor, the lights still work in all settings, and nothing has changed. I need to rip it all apart and check it all out. Just started after that damn housing flooded......

 

Your soldered in the resistor on the flasher module or inline at the headlight DTRL connection?

Damn your housing area flooded during that storm?

 

Inline at the light connection. I have mine modified so that my DTRLs are white and they blink orange. Remember when my headlight flooded a few weeks back?

 

Maybe one of your resistors went bad? If all the lights are still functioning, that would be my guess. I had LEDs in the turns (no dtrl) front and rear, and never had any problems. Resistors were at each connection as well.
