How the hell did you get the fitting that came with the arb kit tight on the compressor. I couldn't get a 3/4 slim enough to get the fitting tight.

I learned that the hard way.
Mine came like that from the dealership... learned a hell of a lot about all things Tacoma since the purchase.
    Thank you Tacoma World!:frusty:

Yet people on here will still ignore the advice of people like you and do stuff like this anyone... that's that they say, you can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink

I had the same thing happen to my dumbbutt.
I posted pics of the aftermath somewhere on here.
Glad I am not alone anymore!

I still have the spacers but understand and now know my role...
I will prioritize a coil-over set up at some point.

    Good idea!
I actually wedged a small ruler sized piece of Teflon/plastic underneath mine.
Rubber bicycle tube is probably better .....I’ll do that.

I was just out there doing some house hunting this past weekend. Thank goodness STL isn't as bad as northern IL...it was cold, but not cold enough for that! lol Let's just say that my wife was not-so-silently crying when the cold wind would really kick up.

My 13 ram 2500 with a 6.7l had its tranny go at 65k miles. I bought it with 50k and towed my boat twice for about 600 miles in a year and a half. I had already traded it in for the tacoma i have now when it blew. I felt bad as the dealer let me drive it until i my tacoma arrived.

Awww, tell her I feel her pain. You are right it could be someplace like Michigan and, well, it's just another chapter in what I hope is a very long story!
