God dammit I checked this AFTER I got all cleaned up and started drinking. I guess I'll go try and pull it and see how she blows in the morning.

Forgot to mention I nearly took out a damn deer on my way back from classes tonight. I spotted him because I was using my ditch lights and was able to slow down as I figured he’d jump across the road and he did. I narrowly missed the damn thing, I would have been pissed. 008247B3-9B52-41B5-AE7B-670454357371.jpg

So I 100% expect this plan to fail but for some reason Camelback Toyota let me order a TRD boost gauge. Every other parts site wouldn't let it happen but theirs is special and seems to think there is still an unclaimed one out there. We'll see what happens I guess, if this fails I'll go buy a SpeedHut gauge.

Take the ign assembly to a locksmith. They can get the key tumbler out by picking the lock.

I'm in the process of restoring my Millermatic 180. Started with re-creating the serial number label on the rear of the machine in Photoshop CS6.

Had a hard time finding the CSA Group logo. The input symbol was nowhere to be found, I had to make that from scratch in Illustrator.

I think the fact you are recreating the label is evidence of tampering :bananadead:

Yeah I don't think the warranty is still in effect LOL

This thing is in really rough shape. It worked fine, but it was way too beat up for my standards. I bought a new welding gun, exterior labels and fascia, ground cable and clamp, and power cord. Whole thing is getting sandblasted and repainted.

Question is should I buy OEM Miller blue paint, or should I go for the generic Safety Blue paint. Hmm.

Probably should've paid another $200 and got the brand new Hobart Handler. Oh well, that's not as fun. It’s my problem now.

It's a welder, as long as the insides are good then it is good. I'd spray it deep metallic purple, or Lincoln Red to fuck with Miller fanbois.

    That's evil. I like it.

That's like putting a Honda Ridgeline badge on the tailgate of a Tacoma.

The old 80's ones? The one I have was made around 2012 haha.

New ones also cost an arm and a leg... luckily parts are relatively affordable.

I got my 211 in 2014, looks just like yours just has 110v 220v option. I believe in the 80s miller machines were white

Oh yeah the big one looks a lot better. The hell is 'MVP'?

I am assuming that doesn't mean most valuable player.
