Looks good! You check all the things I listed? Happy for ya bud, hope it lasts ya change those plugs every 25-30k, run only 93 octane and get the valves checked for buildup regularly. They have real bad problem from gumming up. The ecofail runs best on 93. The ECU fuel mapping actually opens up a tad more power on 93.

 

Did check those things, and looks like the 4x4 works flawlessly and the TSB was done on the truck for the EVP Canister. Plugs are going to be changed when I do the first oil change and the truck has a full tank of 93 octane in it now! What would be the best way to check the valves though for buildup?

Well one thing you need to do your self is pop off the exchanger boots and pull the exchanger out and make sure there isn’t any liquid hanging out. Like I said, some fixes haven’t worked. It’s not hard to get it from behind the front bumper.

Also begin listening for the rattle from timing chain:



Best way to check valves is snaking camera through intake, super easy to do.

Hell Yeah. I have the same tune on my R32. Dyno'd it a few days after the adaption took hold and it freed up 15hp and 22 lbs/ft Torque. Not bad for an N/A tune. I currently have a Borla Catback. Had a magnaflow but the drone was just too much. Couldn't hear shit at 60 MPH and that was with adding dyno mat under the carpet in the rear hatch. I actually loved the sound of magnaflow over Borla.
