    Dammit, I have to pick up the truck tomorrow in western MA, I was hoping the snow and salt would be washed off the road before I picked it up! I got to test drive it in the slushy shit we got on Monday, looks like I'll get to drive it home in snow also potentially.

    I don't need snow to give her the old Italian break-in procedure! I just don't like driving vehicles I'm not familiar with in the snow. Plus, it does increase the odds of crossing the line between breaking in the new vehicle and breaking the new vehicle.

    I agree, it's unnerving taking a rig you're not familiar with through a storm. Especially when the dimensions are approaching aircraft carrier status and you haven't figured out where the corners are yet, lol.

    Exactly! My only saving grace is, at least the cabin and ergonomics are pretty much the same at the 2013. Visibility is surprisingly good for such a large vehicle, you can see all the corners pretty well. Just can't see what's directly over those corners...

    That can bite you, though. Ergonomics are the same, so if you're not paying attention your brain defaults to the truck having the same dimensions, too.

    Just got another call from the sales guy on that Ram I've been haggling for and they're within $500 of the (somewhat unreasonable) numbers that I gave them. I'm calling them back in a few minutes when I take my break to tell them that if they'll split the difference with me that they've got a deal. :anonymous:
