    I've been a diehard Guinness draught drinker for many years, but recently tried a Left Hand Milk stout and it was so good. My girl wanted to try a LH Milk Stout Chai, and although odd, it was tasty, and in talking to the bartender, we found that there was another bar nearby that had it for sale in growlers, so we got a bottle to go, and some chocolate stout too.

    For those that brew, I'm wondering if you've tried making mead. A buddy and I made a few batches, and while it's considered best after aging, we never made a batch that made it past a month old before it was depleted.

    My best was a cherry melomel using orange blossom honey, a few pounds of frozen cherries and Montpelier champagne yeast, which yielded a naturally carbonated mead of 19-20% ABV, and tasted like a cherry soda and would lay you flat!
