Wow, they already pulled the ad...that was fast. I just put the deposit on it a couple of hours ago. I've probably got pictures saved in my email, I'll see if I can find them.

The Ford dealer put my old truck on the lot! I'm surprised they didn't auction it given the miles.

But, condition is good for the mileage so I guess that's why. It did need new back shocks and had a tiny exhaust leak which I'm not sure if they would have noticed.

Ha, true. Typical person probably wouldn't even notice the exhaust leak, and the back shocks are only noticeable if you get under it and see where they lost their fluid and got caked in dirt. Or if you drive a little too fast around a bumpy corner and felt how the back end handled.

They did clean it up really nice--looked like they even went through the effort to clean the white lettering on the tires. I hadn't done that in a long time.

Odds are they also power washed the underside and blasted all of that dirt/oil off, and then gave it the typical silicone-based spraydown to make everything shiny underneath (which serves the dual purpose of disguising leaking shocks)

 

Maybe work on a deal to wrap the truck and the cap. But wait till the wife's done painting and remodeling
