Got the grill, fog lights and fog bezels up today. Ran into issues with one of the HID bulbs so I couldn’t complete the black headlight install. So far no errors on the dash. Way easier to install the fogs by removing the front bumper.A9C2921F-E362-4822-B666-12E9EE5B9EBB.jpg 46504457-1931-4A3E-910D-D6970A69613E.jpg

@payrow thats good work man. I didn’t know a longer wire was required either, thanks for letting us know. I’m feeling relatively confident to tackle this on my own, thanks to posts like these.

Also wondering if anyone else had to get the longer wire for the radar or if the one that’s currently there is long enough? Thanks.

    Not much stock left.
I did my last night. The longer wiring harness would be a plus, but it’s not necessary. The longer harness would allow you to conceal it better behind the grill.

On mine, if you look close enough, you can see the wiring.

I ordered it, but it's been backordered for over a month. Last update was that it was supposed to ship today. We'll see. . .

I added an OEM Pro grill and a 2.5" lift a month ago and can confirm that my radar cruise control and collision warning are working just fine. No adjustments to the system or re-calibration of any kind.

BTW: the OEM Pro grill feels and looks the same. And for those womdering, the garnish on the OEM Pro DOES lay closer to the grill on the top than it does on the bottom. So it looks likes it's leaning back on top. Was worried when I installed mine, but had its first service today and checked on the Pro's they had in the lot.

Mine is same way , i can see it if I look. priced the TRD PRO cable 28 bucks so I might go that route just to make it invisible.

I’ve literally been thinking about it all day - LOL! It’s driving me nuts for some reason. I’ll probably break down and get the longer harness and the factory push on nuts so the garnish will have a tighter fit.

Just checked this morning on the longer wire harness. The 88214-04020 are on back order. ETA would be the first week of May. But with Toyota, the ETA can change.

Found a listing on eBay for the OEM TSS Sensor cover and nuts for $58.00 shipped.

2016-17 OEM Grill, TSS sensor cover and nuts for $450.00+shipping.

Dealer advises the cable is still on national backorder. Availability is now 4/30.

I just want to say THANK YOU for posting this awesome write-up. I just finished swapping my OEM grill to the PRO grill and followed every step of yours. 1 thing I didn't notice about mine was the additional 2 clips on the sides of the grill. I have the 18' Sport so maybe that's why?
I also changed my lower valance bumper while I was at since the whole grill was off. Anyways, thank you again!

To everyone else, i have a few things listed for sale in the buy/sell group if anyone is interested.
