Charger is almost competely diassembled. Heading to school to use the shop press to get the rear rotor bearing out and the new bearings in. This is going surprisingly well. Its nice to be working on the truck again

True im very happy about that. Theres some noticeable scratching on the rotor and the housing walls from debris in the plenum Im guessing but nothing really worrying.
Worst thing so far was the smell of the oil. Not sure what good oil is supposed to smell like but this was terrible

Mine is stock, the fuel trims lead me to believe that flow isn't an issue though. It seemed like it was running too rich if anything, so with it only seeing vacuum it picked up a little pep. I need to have a real idea of how much boost it is making before I continue doing things to it though. I don't know if this rotor assembly is good or not, dude said it made 6.5psi but who knows. My gauge is cheap and likely inaccurate. Who makes the gauge you have and is it accurate?

I have a PLX, the boost gauge and AFR modules tie in together and run on a bluetooth app which is nice. It seems to be very accurate. AEM was also one I looked at, just didn’t want to add in a bunch of gauge pods.

AEM is good shit for sure, and I am familiar with the UEGO wideband and truboost but I don't really like the way they look and the range on the gauge is mostly useless. I love analog gauges I was thinking of going for a VDO or Defi unit.

just power and then wiring it to a wide band 02. Which you'll need a bung to be welded onto the exhaust for. You can't use one of your stock ones.

ah yeah I got the steel exhaust bung and plug kit with it as well, was recommended through Amazon based on other buyer's purchases so I figured it was necessary

I don’t have an instrument cluster in the truck right now and the fuel sender I’m guessing is dead since the fuel gauge was inop when I bought it. I’ve just been guessing how much gas it has... lol

I’m not good at this whole driving stick thing. I stalled at an intersection 3 times trying to get into first and this guy was staring at me like I was crazy.

Also stalled it some more trying to position it in my driveway. Lol.

You'll get the hang of it eventually, not having a seat in the truck is a big part of it I would guess, lol.

When I got my first manual car (a huge POS Dodge Dakota with a 4cyl engine...couldn't hardly get up the hill to my house) it took me about a month of practicing every single day before I was ready to venture out of the neighborhood. It took me a little while, but once you get used to it, it's like riding a bike...you don't forget.
