    '12 Tacoma TRD Off-Road
    Pre-runner TRT off-road 2012
    Miles: 63,000
    Items due:
Tranny flush and/or drain/fill (cant decide) spark plugs, diff oil, oil change in 500 miles

Variables: zero towing, minor bed hauling, heavy dust area driving, oak pollen season just finished, Throttlebody and MAF sensor may need cleaning soon due to Kn filter , last clean 8000 miles ago. Very hilly driving 100 miles per day.
She's my work truck and daily driver.

Typical obsessed with maintenance TW member.

Recently towed and ignition key would not turn adterward until front end was jacked up to take pressure off of steering column. Shifter is now noticeably harder to move out of park, nearly snaps/clunks when moving in and out of P .

Essentially I'm just looking for feedback from anybody that hit the 60,000 Mark and started getting hard shifting or anybody who's been towed or anybody else they may have anything to chime in about what I've listed or what I may not be thinking Of.

I'm going to go down the list of maintenance items needed one at a time to see which if any of them improve the very very noticeable hard shifting not just from 1 to 2 as usual but from One through four. Anything I find out I will report back.

    Looking forward to hearing anything

    Garcias

Edit: nope not going to dealership

Also my trans fluid temp off of my alter Gage has been averaging about 20/25 degrees higher probably negligible due to Texas summer approaching

Check the shifter linkage (especially down at the trans/shift lever), take it to a shop and get some eyes on it. Also call the tow truck company. They may be responsible for some damage to your rig
