I just bought a 2018 Pro and I'm going to lift it at some point. I'm living in Germany right now, so I may not do it for a couple years, when I get back to the U.S. Yes, I know many people have the opinion that lifting a Pro is stupid. I'm not here for your opinion or negativity. I just want to see lifted Pros and talk with people who've done it.
Again, I'm not looking for opinions.
I just want to see lifted PROs!

    There’s a difference...

“Do you guys think I should lift my Pro?”

“I’m going to lift my Pro.”

One is asking for opinions, one isn’t.

I would have to wonder why you buy a pro and pay an ungodly amount of money for Toyotas upgraded suspension instead of buying an OR and put your preferred suspension on it to begin with? If you want pictures of pros you can Google 3rd gen tacoma pro and then select images then look all you want with out any opinions or time taken from members of this forum and their unsolicited opinions. I am always amazed how some people start a conversation trying to gain information then they set the rules! It usually doesn't go over well.

I know it’s not exactly what you’re asking for... but I lifted my 2015 Pro and cut up the bumper!

The common theme on here is "why would you buy a pro only to swap out the suspension"

Do people really think that the only difference between the pro and other trims is the suspension?

    Lmao “... an ungodly amount...”
    “...suspension...”
Dude, there’s so much more to a Pro than suspension!
And I only paid $2k more for my Pro than I would’ve paid for the offroad model I had a deposit on when my salesman told me he got his hands on a black Pro.

I want a 6” lift on mine. I won’t spend good money on a 2 or 3” lift kit (would only be 1 or 2” higher than what I have now, so screw that). I don’t mind spending $4-5k on a good 6” lift. I put $17,500 in aftermarket equipment on my last truck. This one will be another fun project. :)

I don’t “wheel” my 2018 Pro. I didn’t buy it to tear it up.
    I bought it because:
    A) It looks awesome.
    B) It’s not my first Tacoma, so I know they’re great trucks.
    C) Great resale value. I put almost 100k miles on my last Tacoma and sold it 3 years later for $2k less than what I paid for it.
    D) They look great LIFTED!

My Pro is going to be a great pavement princess! And I’ll love every minute of it.

No, but the part that provides the biggest difference in performance between the Pro trims and the rest is suspension. The other differences are mostly just cosmetic stuff.

Some members just seem to have an issue with people buying a pro and then changing out the suspension is all I'm saying.

Right here. You just gained my vote. I'm being 100% serious and not sarcastic. I think a 6" lift looks solid on tacomas. I think some of the links I posted had some 6" lifts on them.

I dunno. That's a tight argument. Shit, the headlight and fog lights alone on the PRO are over a grand...
