I’m more interested in the Duramax 3.0 coming out, simply because it’s an in-line 6.

 

Please don’t take away an opportunity for someone to buy a first gen and actually enjoy it.

Cummins>Duramax>Powerstroke

Not Toyota hate, I specifically mentioned how much I loved my previous Toyota trucks. Sorry it sounded that way.

 

Attorney mentioned that a manufacturer will usually have you sign documents to that effect. Nothing like that has been presented to me as of yet.

I know that the LLY, LB7, and other older gen engines had issues, and the current LML seems to be a good engine but I was thoroughly uninpressed with the power of the LML on the test drive, and a friend of mine who works for a Cat dealer hauling light equipment isn’t a fan of the LML’s power either.
The engine and trans are solid but that’s because they don’t make enough power to break things.

I’m perfectly happy with the 6.7 in this truck.


Although this truck towed pretty well also.

 

I'm really sorry to hear your story. A Toyota truck should work well and work well for a long time. It's gotta be frustrating when it doesn't.
