The dude was working for an off road company (Rebel Off Road) at the time, surely they would understand if he was late for some show because he spent an extra few minutes helping someone out. That excuse doesnt add up and doesnt fly. But there's more instances of him bailing on people, I'm just waiting for more details so that I can post about it.

Even my work knows that if I'm a no show on any giving Monday morning it's because they know Im out of cell service somewhere on the trail broken down or helping someone else broken down.

Especially considering he probably has the latest and greatest ARB V8 turbo air compressor whatever that can inflate 40’s in 3 seconds. Very lame excuse.

    Hey @MonkeyProof
I'm going to do the ben Lomond trail up here at the high lakes area this summer. If you not chasing some guy through the dessert you welcome to hit it with us. There's some other areas too that are hella rocks but I'm not set up for those yet.
If you want to you know where we are and how to reach us.

This is also open to nor Cal. It's a 4x4 only trip and totally awesome views.
    Thinking about late June.

Last time I was on it I was 1967 spring over fj40 fully locked and never needed for wheel drive. I hear it's been changed due to weather the last two years. The hardest part is the beginning slippery tree roots and large bolders. Sliders would be prevalent here. I'm stock in an 08 dcsb only have 285 tires and a winch. I'm goin up there the first week in July to check the snow melt i know there's about three to eight foot drifts now. I'll ask around to the locals that have been the last part of summer and get back to you on how built.
This place overlooks the feather river canyon and down on highway 70. Totally awesome.

I have sliders and a front bumper, but I wouldn't trust my skids to hold my beer.

Just went up above Feather Falls. Tried to do a loop out there ran into some drifts on the north side of some mountains they were 3 feet deep. Couldn’t look into the middle fork. If we get 85 temps in the valley some roads should start opening

Ok got off the phone with a miner friend who spends the summer up there. He says there may still be a little snow in spots up there in June. Also says four wheel drive is a must and keep it narrow. There is a set of trees to go between that are not passable with full width trucks. Other than that he says 4 wheel is fine and if you have sliders even better for piece of mind. He runs up there in an 03 Tacoma bone stock and is locked in all the way.
