Looks great! Is the white light around the projectors on the drl circuit or on with running lights?

Is your truck equipped with factory drl feature? If so what part of the headlight lights up without turning on the headlight switch at all- just the truck off and parking brake released?

So I have these lights and really love them. I have been driving around with my marker lights on during the day so they can be seen (I used to always use the DRL).
The problem with this is the radio is hard to see during the day, and impossible if it's sunny and I'm wearing sunglasses....so I decided to come up with a easy (I thought) solution to have the neon tubes as DRL.
I saw that the DRL light was duel filament. 1 for DRL, 1 for the turn Signal. So I used my electric tester to figure out which of the 3 wires was the DRL wire and jumped that wire to the led tube wire which I had cut so it was getting no power.
This worked for DRL and marker light mode! The negative was it also flashed with the signal....when I turned on the headlights the led tube did not illuminate. This is because the DRL uses 1 filament bit when you click all the way up to headlights the yellow light switches to the other filament for some reason. The led tube flashes with the signal in headlight mode.
I decided if I couldn't get the tubes to work the way I wanted, I'd go back to stock so that's how it sits now.

The only way I can think of now is to run a separate power wire to the tubes, with a relay trigger, but I don't know what to have as the trigger since the yellow light setup is so wonky....i don't want to add all these wires under my hood personally so that's out for me.

There is a setting on the radio to turn off auto-dim. I did that and it never dims now.

So I've been trying to follow along with this thread and I've seen Tacoma Beast, Pro Tuning Lab, and eBay headlights all mentioned. Are they all the same, is there a recommendation on which ones are the highest quality?

Thank you! Do you recommend adding some additional sealant or do they already look water tight?

I didn't and they have been fine, but it has only been a few months. I think they look solid though and pretty well sealed.

Who'd be interested in a clean solution to enable DRL only on the LED strip?

on my 09 my drls are also my turn signal. Do these flash when you turn signals or hazards are on?

The DRL/turn signal is a duel filament bulb. The different filaments achieve different results.

Thank you. Yes understand how the dual filament works. On my truck when my drls are illuminated and I turn on my turn signal/ hazards the lit bulb cancels out as it flashes. This is different than a tail light (for example) with a 3157 bulb that can have a lit filament (tail lights) and then the other filament either flashes or stays lit when brakes are applied.
