Between all the springs and in the shackles.

I'm not sure if my squeaks came back yet, it's still too cold to drive with the windows open.

And that's all you did? Did you add any lube, grease or anything else? '

Can you provide any instruction on how to install the greasable bolts?

Well i got a brand new bushing kit for my leaf springs. Nothing special just the ones from allpro that come with my leaf pack. But i wanted to start fresh. So after putting new bushings and replacing the factory bolt with the greasablge ones, then just pumped them up with grease and that's it. I put a little fresh grease every couple months when they start to squeak. The noise guess away within about a day off driving when the new grease works it's way in there

Oh okay. Do you have to lift the truck to pull that bolt out?

Yeah, take the old bolt out and put the new one in!! hahaha, it's more simple than you're making it out to be.

I recently had my frame replaced under warranty. After getting it back, my leaf springs began to squeak like crazy. Took it back for a leaf spring silencer kit. However, AFTER getting the truck apart, they realized that the silencer kit was for the old leaf springs that were replaced under a different warranty a few years back. There is not silencer kit for the new design. I put the chances at 0% we ever get one. Going to have to go with the self-lube method. Seems like the consensus is that T-9 spray. Glad I checked here. I was ready to WD-40 those things up.

The greasable bolts do nothing on factor leaf springs. They use rubber bushings which are frictionless unlike aftermarket poly ones. Same thing for spraying lubricants on the factory bushings. The only say that would stop squeaking temporarily is by inadvertently getting lube on the leaf spring friction pads which should be greased.

At 27k, last month mine started squeaking. I lifted the back end up, let the rear axle droop all the way and power washed the leaf pack. No more squeaking. No lube.

Ah, dusty roads always caused it to my truck until the bushings were lubed right.

Hate that squeak- I don’t mind it while driving so much, but it has been the source of some pretty funny jokes after some nights in the RTT:D

My truck squeaks occasionally when I get out. Started after it went mudding. Anyway, I sprayed the leafs down with Bosheild T9 earlier. Didn't hear any squeaks the 2 times I've gotten out since. Time will tell.

What about silicone spray or a marine dry lube? I have the same fucking squeak. I was about to replace shocks.
