I'm being serious. Where is there more clearance on a 3" lift?

Structural integrity, lower center of gravity.

What are the benefits of a 6" lift? And don't say ground clearance because the only way that's applicable is a marginal increase in breakover angle.

The difference is that I don't have the burden of proving that your 3" lift is impractical. I agree that both a 3" and 6" lift are good lifts, where as you think that 6" lifts are irresponsible. For a 3" lift to allow the same size tires that a 6" lift will allow, major body work will be required. At that point you might as well go with a complete long travel overhaul. The lower center of gravity is a tight argument because although you are higher, your tire width can be larger which can potentially balance out the center of gravity being higher.

The difference in ground clearance is negligible due to the fact that the small increase in height of the FRONT AXLE ONLY, created from a coilover lift is negated by the small increase in height gained through larger tires that a 6" lift allows.

**EDIT** When it comes down to it, everyone is all butt hurt about 6" lifts because a couple of clowns that never take their trucks off roading go and lift it to the sky and it ruins it for everyone else.

Lol. Glass front fenders and 35's Is still cheaper. Than a 6" mistake....your still cutting your cmc and beating the pinch weld also on a 6"...put a 3" and 35's next to 6" and 35's....look at who has more clearance. Cool story though.

    Stock for. Ow
I think everybody hates on the 6 inch lift because of the whole cutting your cross member aspect. It’s not exactly easy to undo once you go down the road. There’s some good looking trucks on here with 6 inch lift.

Just don’t powder coat your suspension components some ridiculous color lol... I hate that it

I'll be the first to pussy out when it comes to voiding warranty, and cutting your frame is a huge no no, but really if you know how to weld, it isn't hat hard to piece it back together.

Plus, my thoughts on reversing a 6" lift is that there are only 3 reasons someone realistically would ever go back down to stock after a 3+" lift...

    1) selling the truck
    2) moved to a new house and can't fit in the garage/parking structure
    3) bought a brand new truck and lifted it within the first two years, then realized they didn't want it.

Honestly I've never ever known anyone personally who has spent $1k or more on a lift and dropped back down to stock.

The Pro is the top dog... the creme de la creme!

Spacer kit on a Pro is like showing up at the starting line of the marathon with a pair of chuck taylors. Just beacuse you can, doesnt mean you should.

This is just my opinion, btw.

Well... If you decide that either the hassle of the toytec lift, or the disapproval of the judgmental minority is unbearable, contact me. I’d be willing to offer you at least a little $omething for those horrible TE37s. Lord knows no one else would ever want ‘em. ;)
