    Actually just washed it. Hasn't been that clean in at least 6 months. Did some gardening projects this weekend and hauled a yard and a half of soil. The place I get it from lets you back up to the pile and they just dump it into your truck with a caterpillar. Hosed down the bed after we unloaded everything and then I just kept washing it. Funny enough, I had never washed the bed until this weekend when I installed the topper. Weird to see it clean.

    Thanks! Totally unplanned. A used (practically new) topper came up and I couldn't pass up the deal. 3rd gen toppers sit a couple inches lower than the cab on 2nd gens and I prefer that aesthetically. Just had to make a new crossbar for the rear flap- $10 in aluminum tube. In retrospect, I think the tan will age better over time and hide dirt more than a black topper. Plus, If I plan on sleeping back there or hauling the cooler, it'll trap less heat in the bed. Gave it some Aero303 for good measure.
