@MonkeyProof I was in a similar situation as Danny, in that sense. I was up in Big Bear for one of the San G trips and we were coming down some HUGE mountain down into Lucerne Valley in some really soft sand/dirt and I was in the middle of the "pack". Greg @goblue82 and Spencer @Spencer were in front of me BOMBING DOWN the trail and I was behind them trying to keep up and trying my best not to slow down the people behind me. Well, when we got down to the bottom, we were following these railroad tracks on a maintenance road that had fairly big "hills" that you could climb up and over. That is when I started noticing my brake pedal feeling as if there was no "pressure" and then it got to the point to where my pedal was almost to the floor with very little to no stopping power??? We finally get to this power line tower and wagon train around it and Greg and Spencer were concerned about what was going on and one of the very first things they did was check my brake lines and that is when Spencer touched the master cylinder (brake) and quickly pulled his hand away. He then got an air blower and had me cool my brakes down while people hung out for a while. Just before leaving, I kept apologizing to Greg because I felt so bad in holding up the group and what not and he told me not to worry and he was glad things were somewhat okay with me. I then asked him if he could lead me to the nearest fwy so I could go back home to Huntington Beach. I didn't know the area very well because my original plans were to head back with them to camp, but instead I wanted to just head home from there given my situation. The whole group, roughly 10x rigs, followed and then we pulled over and Greg got out of his truck and gave me directions on how to get back home pointing to the 18fwy that was just ahead of us. I said goodbye to everyone and @4x4Banger was last of the rigs and stopped right next to me while the group was leaving to make sure that I was sure it was "okay" for them to leave me!!! Seriously, that was just AWESOME right there!!!:fistbump::cheers: My brother was with me and he just couldn't believe the type of cool guys I rolled with making sure that nobody was left behind!!!

I'm VERY LUCKY that my brakes didn't fail as we were coming down that mountain!!! I "limped back home" and the very next day I had my brakes "bled"!!!

Wasn’t the smartest of moves in my opinion.:notsure::laugh:His late night “Bikini Beach” show on whatever cable TV it was back then(mid 80’s)was the softiest side of his :jerkoff: and snow blind of glowing silent drug abuse that he was enjoying and wanted others to foresee.

@MadTaco461 Mike, here's the passenger-side handle I picked-up today. The guy accidentally ordered a chrome handle for the driver-side, which was all good because he really did feel bad about it. I pick-up the other tomorrow morning.

Besides, the passenger-side is the one that is actually broken as I'm just replacing the driver-side while I'm at it!!!
