Ok so i've been looking for a taco for about 2 weeks. There are two candidates.

    A) 2005 TRD O.R. dblc sb a/t 2wd,
    with leveling kit
    Pioneer system,
    k&n CAI,
    Flowmaster exhaust catback
    65k
    Throtle body spacer
    Wheels & 33" tires
    (Good service record with toyota)
    Price: 14,500

    B)2006 TRD Sport dblc sb a\t 2wd
    magnaflow exhaust
    Tonneu Cover
    Smoked Tailights
    65k
(No real service record with toyo)
    Price: $15,500

I can't decide wich i should purchase. Initially i said i would only get the sport, but the 05 O.R. seems like such a good deal since it has all the mods i want. Which do you think is the best deal and Why? Thanks!!!

I think you just answered it yourself when you said the OR has all the mods you wanted. Good luck!

Get the Off Road! Cheaper and more mods... Just make sure the work is done right on the mods, Look for professional work.

Oh I don't know. Sloppiness.... check the welds on the exhaust, check for clean wiring with the sound system, etc... If I was looking at it I would check every inch of that thing...pull out the inserts in the bed above the wheel well and see if its muddy, look at the engine bay, clean battery, etc again... Sounds like a good deal though! Buy it already!

why were u only going to purchase the sport? If it is because of the hood scoop, you can always find someone to trade with. I would go with the OR mainly because of the mods.

Yea that was the main reason. I found a company that sell alluminum hoods with the scoop for 130.00 the its an additional 350 to get it color matched. That's a lot of extra moola!!

Why would you pay an extra $1000 for something with the same mileage, no service record and none of the mods?

A for sure! Even if the Sport had the mods I would get the off road for the sevice record for it just being an Off Road.

Because when a truck has a lot of mods, usually, that means a lot of hot roading and offroading which = Bad
