The corvette is the top dog...the creme de la creme of the chevy lineup!

And yet you have 70 year old grandpas driving it 15 below the speed limit.
    Am I right?!

NBA, WNBA, ones a sport, ones a joke. I like sports, I like jokes. Room for all!

We arent talking about the owners... we are talking about tasteless modifications to the top performance vehicles.

Lifting a Pro with spacers is like bagging and / or dubbin a ZR1.

Definitely room for all... It is nice to have a laugh every once in a while!

Ho brah that's a nice looking car.

If someone was doing something to deliberately lessen their vehicles stock performance then that would be kind of dumb. But I don't think that's the case here at all. I just don't understand why people have such a problem with other people's vehicles when it comes to lifts. How the fuck does that affect anyone but the vehicle owner?! Seriously. The only issue I have when it comes to someone else and their vehicle is putting a a fucking super 44 on their automatic Atkinson cycle gas saving engine/transmission!

Oh, by the way, in case no one has mentioned

OP, if your truck is an 18, make sure TSS is still working after the lift.

    Riddle me this,
I am lifted 6 inches but without a drop bracket...
YET... I have still have cuts and welds on my frame...
My truck is wider than most full size trucks, yet my roofline is lower than most full size trucks...
Even with all that lift, my 33” tires still rub like crazy no matter how much I cut, yet never on the cab mount...

The truck handles better than any stock truck in almost every situation, but I have the beefy looks of mega lifts...

    What is this magical setup?
    Long Travel.

And this shit still just as stupid as lifting a pro, 2wd, or offroad, 2”, 6” or anything in between... because at the end of the day, I spend as more $$$$ on a front setup than most people do on their entire truck :( and some people will still hate it.

You can’t win, buy/mod what you want on your truck and smile at the haters

Edit: p.s. - OP that’s rad you’re in Germany, I really wanna go there someday

I'm willing to bet money that if I stuck you on a surf board and told you to paddle out to Peahi Jaws on Maui, you would absolutely drop in on the first wave you saw. You've got large nuts, my friend.

Mods: Is this still a Tacoma?
Who cares what he wants to do, he isn’t wrong about opinions, Ive seen others that were new to the forum bashed right away. It his money, let the guy be and do what he wants or affords. Maybe getting a pro is having a vehicle that most don’t, so not only resell but likely a collector item in the future, a rarity. You can’t fake that with an off-road. I find it odd for people who buy anything but a PRO then do as much pro oem mods to it to get it as identical as possible then feel they should rebadge it to TRD PRO. They need to check thier registration and insurance cards or VIN as a reminder of what it actually is because you still won’t and cant sell it under the PRO title as that would technically be fraud if VIN shows other wise. Plus to be remotely close to PRO you woul need to mimick each detail like red leather stitching and an exterior color that is one of the current or past pros. Now that’s my opinion. I apologize to those that may be offended, I am not bashing, just saying. I would never put anyone down publicly, hence why I keep my mouth shut because to each his own!

    Just as I assumed...
And just like posting anything on the Facebook page...
A simple posts is taken over by anything but what the OP was looking for.

It’s funny how many people think there’s so much difference in ground clearance between a 3” lift and a 6” DB lift- it’s negligable, and it’s nothing that my truck will ever be limited by.

It’s also funny that people think a 6” BDS lift with upgraded coilovers won’t perform well.

It’s also funny that people think the entire warranty is voided by cutting a little piece of metal out of the crossmember. It’s not! The crossmember wouldn’t be covered, and the suspension parts that were replaced wouldn’t be covered- but they’re removed! They can’t cover what’s removed from the truck.

I’ve also never known anyone who would even consider removing all that equipment on a truck- that’s too much work for no reason.

    Here’s a cold hard fact:
I am willing to bet, with a 6” BDS coilover lift, my truck would withstand anything yours would withstand with a 3” coilover lift, AND with a 6” lift, my truck could withstand 3” deeper water- which I’ve put a truck to that test in the past, when we had a huge flood in Oklahoma. So there is still an advantage to a 6” lift.

BUT, I didn’t come here to argue any of this-
I JUST WANT TO SEE PICS OF LIFTED PROS! Lmao

I love that people here think everyone offroads.

95% of tacoma owners never offroad more than going on a forest service road, where any stock Subaru could also go. Most people lift and get big tires because it looks cool.

I bought an offroad cause I think hood scoops look stupid. Most people buy pros cause they look cool, not because of their increased offroad performance. Most people are not doing serious off-roading in their 45k toy truck. Who gives a crap how he wants to lift his pro.

Can the guy just see pics of lifted pros for Godsakes! Got it? Post it! Don't, shut up and move on! He clearly doesn't want to hear or care about your opinion unless there is a picture attached. Why is it so hard for some to understand this. He was pretty clear on what he wanted to see. Some people on here just boggle me.
