Yes Sir, it is in deed. Hopefully we stay healthy and step it up a notch or two. Last nights play won't gar far against any of those 5 teams.

the way i figure it. if we (UGA) win all our games, at the rate we are going we will finish the season at around 12th. if a win equals one bump down.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
well being as how usc is 1-2 and clemson is the opposite...and actually in the top 25...i'd say they are of more reality than usc is. usc will lose another 4 games this year to close 6-6. that is my prediction and we'll see the last week of november to check it out...i think clemson will close 9-3 w/ a big win over usc.

Yeah, they're certainly not on the top of their game. It'll still be nice to see something other than 0-0 as our SEC record.

Yes, I am absolutely saying that Clemmer isn't a real team, but I'm glad they're beating up on other teams!

If UGA wins out, they will play for the title, as they should. I assume Southern Cal will win out, too, and despite their MUCH weaker conference schedule, those guys are freaking good. Did anybody watch that game Saturday night? I was happy to see OSWho get clobbered, but I was hiding behind my couch watching the Men of Troy. Wow.

i was torn about the osu/usc game. i really wanted osu to win to maybe get georgia bac in the top spot but then again i really wanted osu to lose to show that they aint chit and they dont deserve the title game every year, not to mention they dont even play a division playoff to get there.

Hell, at this point USC looks like they could even beat the Browns.

There are so few teams that I actually think could beat an NFL team. A few USC teams over the past few years could do it, IMO.

Personally, as much as I hate OSU, I was pulling...well, I wanted them to win prior to kick off. I figure that USC looks pretty damn good this year and with their lack of a schedule for here on out a win against OSU pretty much means a national championship bid (of course assuming they don't get stung by Stanford again). OSU looks terrible, thus I figured if they could pull a win over USC they would easily be knocked off by someone else on their schedule. Why do I like this?

Gives UGA a clear shot at the National Championship against a less then stellar opponent....of course assuming we can get through that LSU, UF, Auburn, GT streak we have to endure.

I was going to point that out... I think UGA's path to the national championship game is anyting but clear. I think they have a great team, but I really don't think they'll go undefeated this year. I think they'll have at least one loss, if not two. (Maybe three, if the Clemmer Bama shows up!?!?!?)

I love the SEC, but I hate how we beat each other up. That being said, though, LSU won the title w/ two losses last year.

    WE NEED A PLAYOFF SYSTEM!!!

Hmmmmm New coaching staff... new offensive scheme ... new defensive scheme... lose all your top stars on offense... yea, I would call that a rebuilding year... but FSU has proved even a mediocre team can crack the Top 25... LOL

No doubt they shot themselves in the foot with all the turnovers Saturday. It's hard for any team to recover from that many horrid mistakes giving your opponent SUPREME field position.

Big Blue will be back... it may take a year or so... lots of teams struggle the first year or so running the spread... once Coach Rod gets his style of recruit in the Big House, it's going to be a scary thing.

I agree and am not worried about this year, there will be growing pains. Rich Rod is getting his players including a high profile qb next year that can run the spread. His name is Tate Forcier and his website is qbforce.com Rich Rod will get the Wolverines on top again and back in the championship hunt!

My brother showed me a blog with a bunch of alternatives to the Bama/Clemson SI cover. They were all funny, but I thought these were hilarious.

And even one that calls Bama fans rednecks:

Hah! I've never thrown a copy straight into the trash... I've ripped a cover off, though. There was other good stuff in there.

Don't hate me... I included one that made fun of Bama, too!
