2016 OVTune Tacoma 3.5L Manual Transmission / Engine ECU Reflash

tune will release to nite .oh WAIT! HOLD ON! but then again

the only time it doesn't release to-nite is if your NOT waiting for it,in witch case it becomes ton-nite when you pick it up.
so if it released night before, last night,night of ,tomorrow night,the night after it is always to-night when you pick it up

 

Is there a MT file being released soon? I have not been update date for a few days.....

 

On March 23, it was said to be released "soon", so hopefully soon.

Is everyone running a test tune? Maybe we already got our “update”? Like they say, the squeaky wheel gets the grease...

As I understand it, our "test" tunes are not the final version.

You'll recall that Mat ran pretty much silent for a while when finalizing 1.04 for A/T.

That's my assumption here, plus we COULD be getting the polished version of FM.

Meh

 

We also thought that after all the data logging that you guys did, and these test tunes that were run, that we were just waiting on the AT tunes to catch up before the final version was released. I’m just saying that these test tunes may just be keeping all of us happy enough that it is allowing him more time for other projects. I’m sure that another update will eventually come, but who knows when that will happen.

 

Yeah I'm ok with that TBH, as long as anyone who wants the test files can get them.

 

At first I felt kind of bad giving out 2T3 to so many people just because I don't know if that was what Mat wanted or if it's whatever (Edit: 6 people, just checked), but I feel less self-conscious about it as more time passes since I know people have real issues with the drivability of their trucks and the test tunes that we have shared have really helped them out during the wait

 

Any word from Mat?

 

Likewise....switched back 1.03b last weekend.....

 

he's on FB posting about Mazda stuff.. at least i saw that earlier today. taking a break from Tacoma craziness is in order I'm guessing.

 

Is he allowed to do this?

 

I did some digging into when the updated tune might be available and found this. I think we'll be waiting for a while.

 

Is there a test tune out there floating around for a 2018? This surging is driving me crazy!
