Exactly why we didn't elect to do surgery on Link's other knee. Well that and the cost of it. He already had to go thru one knee surgery that took close to 9 months to get over. We didn't want to put him thru that again and the knee still bothers him. We let the other knee heel naturally which basically means it calcified over. Now he needs a very small pill every night for arthritis but he doesn't mind that. He gets to take it with a dab of peanut butter. Ha!

Well he is having major freak outs in this cone so going to get him one of the inflatable ones from petsmart. Pain medicine still in affect so he's not really sure what's going on

That is fitting that you're drinking water with the water port. :rimshot:

he's ok. sleeping away right now, and made it through the night really well.

he absolutely hates the cone of shame, runs into everything with it and it makes him have a panic attack. the inflatable one I got is much much better but he still doesn't like it. I am trying to let him sleep as much as possible so while I'm here to watch him he's not wearing it.

thanks for asking, really appreciate that.

    Glad he is doing ok!

It was sad, but super funny to watch my youngest dog walk around with a cone on after she got fixed. The cone never seemed to bother her (or she never realized what it was) but she would run into everything you can think of and not understand why. That thing was destroyed after a week.

I found it humorous when we got out of the vet because he kept hitting my ankles and couldn't figure out why. Then when we were coming in the house I have like a 4inch concrete step up to the front door and his cone kept catching it and he was like "what the hell is keeping me from the door?" the drugs were still in affect. then when we got inside he hit like 2 pieces of furniture and had a major freak out which caused him to hit literally everything in the house and he was panicking and I had to just basically bear hug him to calm him down. I decided I couldn't risk that happening when I leave him so had to get the inflatable one.
