I did not see an option for a 2018 Auto TRD-Crawl Control on the OVTune dropdown menu selection. But there is one for 2016-2017 TRD auto-Crawl Control.

Has anyone flashed a 2018 TRD Auto with Crawl Control?

If I remember correctly, there's no difference between Auto and Auto with CC. Just a way for Mat to track who was buying I think, the consumer base.

Can someone else confirm? I have the 6MT so I didn't really concern myself with this

I asked and he said there's no difference. He wants to play around with the crawl control in the future he said

You must have a lot of extra coin to blow on big tires and those gears. Must be like $1200+ just for tires + $1500 for gears? Seem kinda $pendy for a camping truck unless you don’t have kids. To each his own

The 4:88 regear is totally worth it with 33" tires and 400 lbs extra weight if you live in the mountians. I was ready to dump my truck at a 10k loss after 2 years of waiting for supercharger to be released until I got the regear. Towing is way better as well. Now I'm hoping the OV tune will help the dead pedal and dead rpm ranges and gear searching. The dongles cleared customs

You're gonna love your truck for real between the regear AND the tune! My regear money has gone to diapers and baby formula... future mod most likely. Though I'd love to see a step down from the 4:88s as I don't intent to run 33s

Anybody had a chance to tinker with offroad driving on 1.04 yet? Experiences?

Have a trip coming up next weekend and plan to get dirty!

I have a 400 mile trip up to Idaho falls this weekend and then maybe over to Jackson Hole/Yellowstone. Super excited to put some miles on 1.04 and probably will hit some trails too. I did average about 20.6mpg on my drive to work today which right about my average from 1.03 tunes as well.

4.88 gears with 33" tires and a ton of extra weight...

Edit - 20.6mpg is for a downhill drive on 45mph roads and I got lucky with traffic lights today - this is NOT my overall average :)

Towing 400ish pound zero turn. ECT power mode. Flat land no wind. Still toggling between 4th and 5th.

I sold my Jeep (which was fully built gears, lockers, chromoly axles, and everything else you can image), used the money to pay off debt, re-gear, lift, and tires. It helps that I am good friends with my mechanic so my labor for gear install was less than $500 and 33s are not big tires... hell, 35s aren't that big. either.

And yes I do have a kid...

I deploy a lot too so that helps the truck fund.

    With 285-70-17s (32.7 X11.6 R17) The tach says 2050-2150 at 65 so prolly 2250 tops at 70.

If I ever did something like this I would run skinnies with the tune. 255/85 17

Sorry, I know you've said but I've looked and can't find it.
Which app and PID is this? I want the gear indicator but OBDFusion with Toyota PID won't give it to me (Android)

Skinnies suck for stability. Been there done that. If you lift you need a little wider tire. I'm not saying to run a 33X12.50 but an 11.50 helps with body roll and makes it a lot more stable in curves, off-road cambering, fills the wheel wells and looks better than a skinny.

Military use them on SO many vehicles. Must be a reason why
