Sooooooo whatcha wanna do is get some baby back ribs. Then you wanna pull membrane off. Sometime after that you gonna wanna put yo favorite ruuuuuub on it, front and back fo sho. Then you gonna need to put 1 cup of water and 1 cup Apple juice in the fancy ass instant pot. Be sure to put the little rack thingy in bottom to stand the ribs on their side on. Theeen you put ribs in on their side wrapping around. Pop the lid on, press manual setting for 25 minutes. When she is done, let her self vent for bout 15 minutes then pop the top. Turn the oven on low broil. Place your ribs on greased aluminum foil, and brush reeeeeeeal good with your favorite sauce and toss in oven. Once sauce starts to caramelize, pull out like you back in college! Then enjoy like it’s your birthday :D

I prefer membrane on. Then I don’t have to worry about timing my pull out.

Although I cut the membrane up in a crisscross fashion.

OK but I already did :p However they were SLC not baby backs. Going to do baby backs this weekend on the smoker. Better hurry the hell up and warm up though. This morning.

    April19Temps.jpg

    April19Nova.jpg

I did mine on the smoker first, but my sons wanted them done more as in the falling off the bone as previously mentioned. I like a little pull on mine and was happy with how they turned out on the smoker.

But they were not. So I cooked the leftovers again in the IP for 12 min. with a natural release for 20 min. They don't come out of the IP pretty that is for sure.

As mentioned the oven broiler can cure all type of sins. Even putting ribs in the IP.

The smoke ring is because I smoked them first, not due to the instant pot or broiler. But they sure as hell tasted pretty darn good I have to admit.

If it doesn't warm up like they say this weekend I could always throw the baby backs in the IP :anonymous: But really hoping to do them on the WSM. Always nice to have a plan B.

I’ve found for my type of good pull, I cook for 15 mins then 15-20release. I’ll drop to 12 and see what your timing pull tastes like
