Even though I haven't DL in about a week I'm still stronk like bull. Back isn't that sore either so today is Chesticles and tris. Need to make Dem titties pop.

Oops, my bad. It thought this was a fitness thread. I didn't see that it was the thread for bodybuilders, only.

The really fit, strong, and lean athletes are the gymnasts. When I was heavy in the weight gyms, the question always arose, "What can you do with those muscles?" The answer, "Nothing really, they just make me look like a bad ass."

Pretty much just lifters hang around here. So thats the culture pretty much.
You won’t find any of us agreeing its better to be frail and thin lol.

Its better to be lean. And the actual definition of lean, not your made up definition that means a specific body type.

Then don't call it a fitness thread if you refuse to accept the endurance athletes in your elite club. Here's some advice, too. For God's sake stay away from steroids. I have seen the results with other guys, I knew, and they weren't pretty.

Why do we have to accept you if your immediate response to seeing someone with a muscular physique is 'steroids' :bored:

If they were ugly to begin with, obviously the steroids wouldn’t make them pretty. But if we can’t tell you that being lanky and built like the other runners/cyclists is stupid, then don’t come in here and try to lecture us about steroids.

Everyone and the anti-roids. Yet most people uneducated as can be. What happened to the "other guys"? Did they do blood work every couple months? Did donate blood every 8 weeks? Did they properly inject themselves every single time, did they abuse them by not switching compounds often enough, did they take the proper supplements to help assist in their internal changes? Did they take the proper estrogen counters? Did they monitor heart rates and blood pressures? Did they use HCG? Did they PCT? Did they use too many orals? Did they use liver support? These are just a few out of 100 questions. Most people know nothing about AAS, they just claim all evidence based off a "person they knew". Not calling on you specifically, but you brought up the topic.

Nice lift. In my younger days, at 180 lbs, I did 540. I got 560 off the ground, but couldn't stand up with it. My best squat was 400, but my bench press never was the greatest, only 260. Small wonder I went into cycling. I just had the leg strength for it. Now, at 72, I do what I can and fight the arthritis that comes with life. Keep on working out. If you ever take up martial arts, don't ever hyper-extend your elbows. I did and have the arthritis to prove it.

Read my previous post about what I said about big muscles and being a bad ass. Big muscles and tattoos never intimidated me so why should you continue to try to intimidate others? Be nice to everybody you encounter, and your life will be a lot happier. Maybe I should start a cycling thread, but unlike you, I would welcome all to my fitness discussions. I'm moving on, now to the Tacoma thread. Now, if you want to discuss politics, we can do that, too.

We aren’t stating no one can be here. Just explaining why most have certain attitudes.

Btw you are doing nothing but insulting us too.

Steriods are a personal choice and there is a proper way to go about their use. Knowledge is power.

So anyone with big muscles and tattoos is intimidating and not nice to others? Why can't someone be strong, have size, ink, and a good positive attitude?

    Everybody love everybody

    Edit: except crossfitters...fuck those guys

With all the crap you claim to be doing, it's surprising you even have time to work out. Back in the 60's long before you were ever born, all you had to do to get steroids was go to a doctor and get a physical. Pass the physical, and he'd give you a 3 months supply. You stay on it for 3 months, then you get off if for 3 months. Then get another physical and another 3 month supply. I never took it because I read Strength and Health, a magazine created by former Olympic coach, Bob Hoffman. He was dead set against steroids, and he explained why. His reasons scared me from ever trying them. Now, steroids are regulated and for good reason. You get caught with steroids and your athletic career is over. Sure, they make you big and strong, but I didn't like how the guys retained water and got real fat in their stomachs. They became extremely strong, but after they stopped taking steroids, their strength and size went away. They actually became weaker than they were before taking them. I saw a lot of big name bodybuilders, claiming they never took them, but they were lying and all dying way too soon. Look at how the wrestlers and foot ball players all seem to be dying way too early. As healthy as they seem to look, they go real fast. Look at Arnold. He took steroids. Now he has had heart trouble and his second open heart operation. So keep on taking your steroids. Here's to a long life, how long it is you have.

Take the f word out of your vocabulary, and you wouldn't even be able to talk. Wait, you can't talk, now.
