Im leaving today headed to Dalton,GA for a wedding. It’s not how I would like to spend the weekend. Not to mention the best weekend weather we’ve had in months.

For those with caps (or anyone that has input), I have a lead on a used cap for cheap. It does not come with tracks or rails so I would have to add them so I can move my roof basket to it. I want a low profile design and was curious what brand(s) were good to go with. I've looked at Thule already but their's sits a little high IMO.

I’m currently looking into racks for my new cap. From what I’ve seen Baja and prinsu are pretty much the lowest profile. There is a link to a diy build out of unistrut that’s very similar looking to the prinsu design.

I already have a basket, I just want the cross rails that it will be secured to, to be as low to the shell as possible

I was leaning towards that or a SOS bumper but if I get this cap, I won’t need the Prinsu anymore.

I figured, but didn’t know if there a brand out there, maybe lesser known because I haven’t found it, that offers a lower design.
