Nice! I haven’t done anything to the bike except for a skid plate. Trucks got a lot more mods than the bike. There is a lot of single track all over in the mtn’s

 

I have some Henry Reed Pro Taper bigs bars just sitting in my garage I can hook you up with for dirt cheap when I get out there if you want. I run them on my bike and probably one of the best mods I've done. I just took a look at your build thread for your truck I dig it that thing is definitely purpose built. I have a crazy amount to do to mine before we get out there lots of stuff in the mail. We are heading to Cali from VA then doubling back to Denver just to say we did it so rushing to get it as overland ready as possible before then. I've still yet to figure out how the hell I'm gonna move my bikes. If I haul them it would kill my MPG and really limit our freedom driving with a trailer but otherwise I gotta get them shipped or something which is what im leaning towards.

 

Oh great just when I was about to welcome you to Colorado you go and post that you will actually be coming here from California...

 

Technically I'm heading there from Virginia, were just driving cross country for fun then doubling back to Colorado. Maybe I worded that poorly.

I’d have to think on the bars. Mine have been fine stock but wife’s xt might need them.
If your passing through Denver on your way to Cali and have them in a trailer what not stop in and get a storage unit for a month so your not dragging them to Cali and back? I’d bet your mpg loss won’t be less than getting them shipped.

I have thought that but I would basically be buying an enclosed, then have nowhere to store it and have to sell it immediately after we finished moving as I know we're not gonna be living anywhere with that sort of room. I've thought about Uhaul to Denver then putting it in storage but its nearly as much to rent the uhaul as it is to just buy an enclosed 6x 12 secondhand. I have thought about buying a dual Kendon fold up though.
