Does it piss anyone else off that our taxpayer dollars are buying TRD Pros for the cops?

I’m pro blue but the subsidized vehicles drive me insane

I've seen a cement TRD Pro T4R, too. We should all join HPD and DLNR!!!

As long as it isn't an open fire, it should be fine.

I don't know exactly how it works, but i think the officer has to pay the difference on their own. I've seen fj cruisers, tacoma and iirc a titan too.
Maybe it isn't a "motor" where they're still on patrol, but they use the vehicle when they sign up for special duty work like traffic control at construction sites.
I think the pick ups are for the K9 guys.

Dude... where do you live??? "should" only take about 45 minutes from the start of the trail to camp... That leaves 2.75 to get to the trail head... lol...

But again my point... I go up to camp, chill, and relax... It's my stress relief, although sometimes packing is stressful...

So the officer pays the for the vehicle upfront and the city pays them a stipend every month. Every officer gets the same amount so if you buy a TRD PRO 4runner you get the same stipend as the guy who buys a used SR5 4runner. Just depends on how much you wanna save or dish out. The pickup trucks are for the SSD k9's only. The vehicle they use for special duty is the same vehicle they would use for patrol.

Thanks for the clarification. What about those really old guys doing special duty? I can't imagine they're still on patrol. Are there other positions that get the stipend too?

    you're right!!!

Probably just need to :sawzall: or take an ax to the pallet...and use a Trasharoo for the recyclables.

Appreciate the clarification, Branden! Always wondered and also get asked this by visitors all the time.

    So the
So the really old guys working special duty are reserve officers. They have to voluntary work 20 hrs a week in order to get the benefit of working special duty. They do not get a stipend for their vehicle which is why a lot of them use their old motor car.

Yup mounted the rail set up a few mins ago. And hey send you a 10% of next purchase code after you order. I tried it out pressurized it and everything. Works great.
