Ya, highway speed limits are 70 around here, and I'm not known for understanding those signs too well.

I thinks it's a smudge better than the second gen v6, but think I did better in my 09 four cylinder.

I used to average 16-18 during the winter with C-load Duratracs on with my 4.0, and 19-20 during the summer on the stock Dungflops. :notsure:

Definitely didn't buy the taco for mpgs, but one would think a smaller truck would yield better numbers than the full sizes. I mean I guess if you compare it to the Tundra it does.

Truck looks great. I know the crazy poke isn’t the look you’re going for, but it does work for right now. I’m sure the SCS wheels will look way better.

You must be harder than me on the go pedal. I could get 23 MPG for a tank if I was off for the week and puttering around the backroads. The worst I’ve ever done is probably 18.5ish with highway driving where I was doing the occasional 70+ and sitting in traffic.

I’ve been running 93 lately as my truck tends not to ping as much with it and the throttle response seems marginally better. I’ve noticed a slight uptick in mileage although everything I know about fuel says that shouldn’t really happen.

I’m curious to know what the BFGs will do. So far my instantaneous readout says I’m still right about 20 MPG with maybe 20-25 miles of driving. I definitely feel the new tires as it’s been two years (almost exactly) since I last drove a truck with E load tires but it’s still not nearly as bad as people say.

I almost always got 22 MPG on my STi no matter how I drove it. I did drive up to Maine one time and got 28 MPG on the trip as I basically set the cruise at 63 and took in the scenery. I impressed myself that trip.

Maybe I just need to drive more responsibly. The only differences (as of now) are that mine has a manual and the Off-Road package.

The stick gives up 2mpgs to the slushbox on the G2 trucks though. Lower top end ratio.

And I've ways had a light foot. I almost always beat the EPA, lol.

I like those ST's, but I agree that they stick out a mite far.

Well my wife just got home from taking my son to a bday party for friend. On the way there, the friends parent pulled up along side my wife at a light. She took off and he started to catch her, once at the place his wife said she told him not to race, and his responses was that she rides with me, so that's nothing.

I have also been blamed for my mother in laws speeding ticket once. She actually told the police officer that she was ridding with her son in law the day before and that's why she was speeding.

Was just saying that today at work .My 1984 Camaro 5.0 put out 175-170 horse off the assembly line. The 2.7 in my 2010 Tacoma is 159 horse.

On the highway, my sweet spots seem to be 55 and 75.

That's about what I get, though I only have an access cab without a cap. Once upon a time I used to get 16-19 with 305's.

    Happy Saturday all.

I'd put money on him thinking; "Huh, look at that, someone is delivering Chinese food in a truck!" :D:rimshot:

Sorry... I'll retake that inclusion and diversity training class...
