    Sorry guys, Ive been having quite a few things going on and haven't been able to log on to TacomaWorld in a few weeks. The Brake Override Malfunction is due to the plugs being installed reversed. Please refer back to the video on the first post to see the orientation the plugs should be connected

    Before going to the dealership, please see the video of the installation on the lights. The reason for this notification is because the plugs from the tail lights were installed reversed. The Black Wire from the lights, should be going to the White wire on the truck harness

    I know it’s so strange. Almost like they were wired backwards or I just need to switch the middle and top connections. I’m gonna wait and see what they say first though. I don’t want to short the truck out.

    I’m gonna post a video in a little while. Regardless if that though these loom freaking sweet man. :bananadance:

    It’s almsot like, if I swapped the top and bottom connections then it would work properly. I’m just afraid to try it cause I don’t want it to short something or blow a fuse. I’m almost certain though that would fix it. Seems as if someone wired them wrong at the manufacturer lol

    I believe you can do that with no issues as long as you pay attention to where the black wire connects to on the harness

    That's crazy! So when you hit the brakes the turn signals flash? Both of them or is it just one side? And when you put the turn signals on the brake lights come on? Again, both or just one?

    I took a video of the lights. Turning the signals on and off, the hazards, and hitting the brakes.

    When you hit the signals the brake light flashes on that side only. When you hit the hazards the brake lights flash both sides. When you brake the turn signals light up.

    I’m not a fan in the blacked out ones, it kills the function of the light and the clear Ones look a bit Ricey. The red sets close to OeM but slightly different.

    Yeah very true.... the clear I am definitely not a fan of. The red definitely looks OEM. I feel you

    @RobP62 @ratcityrain

    So just as I suspected and as ratcityrain said, just swapped the connections and they worked fine. Only issue was that the middle connection lead had a hard time reaching up to that top connection which puts a strain on the wiring. So I contacted TacomaBeast.com and they told me how to fix the issue. It does require opening the back of the light but is very simple. I'll attempt to do a video of this and post it with them working properly.

    BTW TacomaBeast customer service is absolutely incredible!!! I'd definitely recommend them to you guys.
