I like carbon but I have lots of it. There’s usually a Becker strapped to the outside of my daypack. I wanted a fixed blade I can stuff in the bottom of the pack and forget about for 5 years until I need it.

Trying out the BM Proper in the pocket. Like the steel (S30V), and the canvas micarta handles. So far, so good.

Honestly not a fan but it is what it is. It feels nice in the hand, just not worth its price tag in comparison to what else you could get for your money.

Hmm. Note to self. You cannot use the BUGOUT to open a beer. The material isn’t robust enough for that.

What oils do you currently use for your blades?
I use Citadel Black because it's food grade (I like to cut fruits up and eat them off the blade like a bad ass. I've only cut my tongue 4 times...)

I use coconut oil sometimes. Most of the time I use Shooter Lube.

Bought my brother this Spyderco Dragonfly for his graduation from Pepperdine. Gonna see if I can make or buy a small box for this and the zippo lighter I bought him to present it in. Didn't realize how small it was lol but he's not much of a knife guy so may be better for him.

Combat axe with paracord wrap, Knight series everycarry, contingency, then custom engraved for @wildebeest_outdoors belt knife. Everycarry is carried nearly every day, all others get used quite often and wear perfectly!
