150hp at the crank stock. LCE claims 190-200 with the 4lb pulley. I have zero idea what it makes to the wheels though, truck has 265k and has been run hard with inadequate gearing and bigger tires for years before I got it.

Oh sweet. Give a 3.4 a run for its money then?

Right now I think I'd be neck and neck with one that's not armored. If it keeps running this nicely I'll throw the smaller pulley on that claims 220-230hp (again who knows how accurate that is) but it goes to 9psi

That would be sweet! I’ve always ever just seen turbo set ups on the 2.7, I didn’t know they made a charger for it. Do you start having fuel delivery problems with the smaller pulleys like the v6s?

Looks like I'll have timing issues long before I have any fuel issues. Most turbo 3RZ folk confirm this too saying my injectors got them to about 12psi before issues with fueling emerged.

Oh nice, how do you fix the timing issue? Those have distributors right? I’ve never worked on a 2.7 or 2.4 just the 22re, 5vz, and the old 3.0s a little bit.

It is an electronically controlled dizzy, it'll need a piggyback computer to intercept and control the ignition advance on top of the stock computer, pretty much all of these piggybacks can also control fueling too so at that point I guess I get a controller for fuel as well haha. It should be a while before I'm doing that though.

Oh ok. Is the ecu not tuneable like the 3.4 one?

3.4 ECU isn't tunable, 2.7 ECU isn't tunable. Basically Toyota ECUs in generally aren't tunable, they lock em down. Bummer really. But I may try a MicroSquirt if I ever decide high boost is what I really want.

Stop that, I don't need more excuses to waste money, besides you know it's only a matter of time for me anyway.

To crimp a new ground cable for the welder. Was significantly cheaper than a hydraulic crimper and it had good reviews so why not.
