Just out of curiously, how many miles do people have on the test tune? I’ve currently got about 2,000 miles on 2T3

So with people running test tunes (from what I can read from the last few pages) is it still worth upgrading over the stock tune? Seems like AT people always have something negative to say.

That may be true but we also don't want to miss out on other improvements that come along with the new version(s) just because we have to stick with older versions to avoid the dulled down, slower throttle response

Yes, and there are previous full releases that several M/T drivers run as well (1.03B and 1.03C).

The A/T crowd will never be completely happy with a one size fits all file because there are just too many variables with the slushbox to satisfy everyone. As you may have read, the most common complaints center around upshift mph and throttle tip in. Mat can change those things to the individual's liking with custom tuning (coming soon).

I think it was worth upgrading from stock with the 1.03 release. It’s even better now. 100% worth the cost IMO

    OK venting a little.

This is the email I got from Matt three weeks ago!

"great thank you for the data. There will be a new release by flash manager update very soon (by this weekend)"

Why keep jerking us around on a release date!

I know "floating gears" is a very common practice on big rigs, but why would you do it on a pickup truck with a six speed?

I've heard people say they do it for practice in case their clutch fails on the road/trail, but other than that.. why?

Aren't you just putting extra wear/strain on the the dog clutches of each gear if you don't get it exactly right? What about the synchros?

Not trying to be a dick, just asking an honest question.. while we wait..
