Yes, I know. For some reason that doesn't bother me. Unlike how the grill, headlights, badges, and wheels did. I even thought the fake, grey beadlock would need to get painted over, but once they were on I loved it.

    Looking clean!

Are you on stock suspension? Those look like 285/75/16s, am I right? How is the rubbing?

You are correct. Stock suspension and 285/75/16's.
It rubs slightly on big bumps when turning and when accelerating too fast while turning in reverse. I've done a hefty cmc as well as heating and molding the plastics. It's good enough for the street, but I won't be off roading until I get some lift in the front.

Where are you getting your rubs? Front of the fender well, rear of fender well, top of fender well, cab mount? Can you share some photos?

Have you tried and alignment and adjusting the caster forward?

    Thanks!!
I have a 2” front lift and 1” in rear. Simple spacer and block with stock suspension. Tires are 275/65/18. Wheels are Raceline Assault 18x9 with -6 offset.
My headlights are the Pro Tuning Lab black lights with HID kit (same as OEMassive but cheaper price). I love them so far (had them one week), good output with the HID and good cutoff. Here’s a link.

I just watched a few YouTube how to videos, then took my time. Wasn’t too bad. My 10 year old son helped. Used it as teaching time.

Yea, I was thinking that if I sold my stock rims/tires with TPMS, stock grille, and my stock headlights, I could get back a lot of the money that I’ve spent on my new stuff. But I’m a pack rat, so I put it all in my attic (along with everything else off of my truck) in case I ever want to put it back to stock to trade it in.

No tags on the bed, air dam.
Waxed the truck. I’d be interested to see what y’all are using to keep your black beauties looking clean.

Pretty sure it's happening in the front towards the outside of the well. Possibly some rub on the back towards the outside of the well.

Cmc, ground down pinch weld, molded plastics with heat gun. Correct alignment for -12mm offset (caster at 2).

Both of these pictures are of the front driver side wheel taken perpendicular to the side of the vehicle. Each picture has the wheel turned to the tightest spot. Roughly 5 degrees in either direction.

I think an extended king coil over, UCA, and ECGS bushing are at the top of my shopping list. I'm done hacking away haha.

It seems fitting 285s on stock suspension is all over the place. Some guys report issues even after trimming/chop, some not. Love the look.

Was looking at ordering those exact tires but they were back ordered. How are you liking them?

They are pretty good. Haven't seen much action off road where I know theyll do well. The can be a bit slick compared to the stock wranglers in ice and snow. I lowered the pressure from 37 to 30 when we got dumped on up in MN. 12" of fresh snow and it drove like it had tracks.

Road noise is great considering the amount of tread. I have had picky people ride in it and said it didn't bother them.

I've got 10k miles on em and they have shown little wear.

    They got my recommendation.

Wish I would have gone bigger, but I don't want to make the truck too sluggish haha.
