From what I know about the RTIC cups in production now, this stems from the Lawsuit / Settlement that YETI and RTIC reached last year........ in a nutshell RTIC got busted going directly to the manufacturer in China and telling them to knock off the YETI cups / coolers and just change out the logos. Well they didn't change all the logos and then began distribution at Buccee's stores in which cups were being sold with RTIC on the tops and the sides but the bottom still said YETI :smack: .....thus why RTIC in court decided it was in their best interest to settle the court case by paying back all the sales of these knocked off products, and make changes to their design instead of trying to fight the case.

Here is some of the information on that court case.

Good for Yeti protecting their business, and kudos to their marketing department, but fuck them for price gouging.

Oh yeah, my sliders are HEAVY. That being said, the protection they provide is unreal and I'd never want to run to the mall without them.

Just waiting for @WebberLander to get some on his rig!

I'd LOVE a supercharger. Maybe when it's paid off and I get a DD.

Keep the miles off the truck and be able to work on it without having the fear of not being able to put it all back together for work the next day.

Also, we are planning to move closer to my wife's job. Since she's the breadwinner it only makes sense to lessen her commute.

At that point, my daily drive to work will be much much longer than it is now (3 miles) so a daily driver is needed.
