I can't think of a good spot for food to recommend in the area. Everything closes by 5pm since it's an industrial neighborhood.

Mechanic emailed me with pics of my "cups" he called them. Said he cannot install my leveling kit without buying new cups, as the rusted parts are just not strong enough to hold the kit. New cups are $92 a piece but he said don't worry about the labor he'll take care of it at no cost since we have a good working relationship, so that helps. Guess that's what 3 years of New England living will do to your body and undercarriage :itllbuffout:

Im not too knowlegable about that, but that looks like it should be replaced, not sure of cost on those parts either. You may want to try and find those part numbers and see if the oem parts go for the price he is asking.

Will do. Unfortunately rust is like cancer, once it starts it's difficult to keep from spreading.

@1loganwright i just so happen to have stock 2015 front assemblies if you want them. I assume you're going with a spacer leveling kit yes?

Yes I am, but my mechanic hooked me up with his old front assemblies yesterday when the issue came up. He also drives a 2nd gen and that played a huge factor in choosing him as my mechanic lol. If he drives a Taco he clearly knows his vehicles!
    Thanks for the offer, Mike!
