    Ok guys,

I can’t be more psyched by this 1.04 tune
Check this out. Carrying 900lbs of bark chips in the bed, 100lbs sliders and 150lb winch and bumper.

The anticipation is worth it. Just hit 400 miles on the tune. It’s the best thing I ever did.

Driven about 150 miles on 1.04 91 tune and I’m loving it. I enjoyed 1.03 and the initial tip in but the update feels so smooth I have no complaints. I’m completely stock right now but I’ll be switching to 255/85/16 pizza cutters next month.

So every time I try to download the ECU file via the Flash Manager the program says the download is complete but the file is 0 bytes. The TCU file downloads properly. Any ideas?

Im about 350 miles on 1.04 91. Shifts a little smoother. Gear mapping feels about the same as 1.03 after a couple hundred miles of driving. A little more power on 91 vs 87, but not game changing enough for me to stay on 91 long term. Will likely go back to 87 after 1K miles.

MPGs driving in the city are identical to 1.03 87 for me, 16-18mpg. Freeway is a little better, average 22 versus 19-20 on 1.03 87 over 2K miles. I’m all stock except a Leer cap.

This happened to me too . I right clicked and chose save as and shortened the name. Not sure why that worked for me but it worked on 1.03 and 1.04.

How do you perform a save as? The Flash Manager does not give me an option to rename or choose a directory.

Solid tire choice. When I get 17” wheels I’m going to run 255’s

Yes a splitter or USB hub will work just. I have used a splitter and all went well.

Make sure you have v 1.09 of flash manager. I had the 0 size files when I tried with 1.07.

Edit - I take that back, that was another issue. Windows defender was the culprit for the zero size files... Make sure you turn real time protection off before you download.

Why would he? He's on one of those brick phones from the early 90s. He doesn't need to update anything

Where did you get 1.09? The links all give me 1.07.

Anyone willing to email me the 04B02_1.03_91_Octane.hex file?

As well as the windows defender screen safety thing it’s all in the defender settings area with the toggles

It comes with Windows unless you deleted it. You must run Windows 7 or higher, preferably windows 10

Correct. Once added to the exclusion list the app will run fine. I don't
shut off defender or anything else when I update the tune.
