Had to make a trip out to KY to clean out two modulars, and move my 58 year-old, teenage uncle back out to Cali. Three of us drove my dad's Super Duty out there a week ago, hauling a 16' enclosed trailer, my mom and wife flew out, and now we're all driving back (including my uncle's car).

Would you guys use red or blue threadlocker for an alignment piece? I’ve got an issue where my camber arms keep breaking all the jam nuts loose. I’m thinking blue because it wouldn’t be fun for the next alignment guy to heat up red threadlocker just to start adjusting.

 

Blue for temp red for never unbolting.

Thinking of calling the manufacturer to see what they say. Maybe they’ve got some thinner nuts I can put in there. Tired of paying for alignments that only last a week.

You talking about that tie rod with heim joints? You said camber arms.

 

Those are still considered tie rods? Either way, I’ve got 3 arms for adjustment and those particular ones are for camber. Furthest forward arm is caster, tiny side arm is for toe.

 

Lol! Plenty of room for other activities besides sleeping... and as a result, it makes for a great place to change diapers. That should decrease the last issue you mentioned.

My wife bought one of those last year. So far, she hasn’t used it once. Based on Bay Area real estate prices, our smaller house, and my recent Zillow valuation, it takes up $2500 of square footage. Nice decoration though... hopefully yours will get some use!
