It was $110 dollars. I should have gone to Firestone and got the lifetime alignment for $200. Oh well, I'm a happy camper. The issue could have been worst.

I am planning on doing the Rough Country 6” lift on my 2018 DCSB TRD Off-road. My question is, have you had any issues with warranty work? I asked my local dealership if there would be an issue, and they stated as long as the frame isn’t cut or any frame modifications performed that the factory warranty would remain intact. I know for the 6” loft, the transfer case has to be moved down to keep from having huge angles on the front cv shafts. The cross member has to be cut to allow it to move down. The cut is made and the new piece is bolted in. Just don’t want to ruin my warranty as I only have 700 miles on mine. Haha. Thanks for any info any of you guys could give me.

Do not do the Rough Country lift. It is garbage. I bought a tundra with a 6” rough country lift. I couldn’t take a freeway off ramp without the stability countrol going off. It is pot cast garbage. After a bunch of research i swapped it out with the BDS kit and fox remote reservoirs. BDS. Did it right their product is forged and very stout their lift corrects caster by moving everything forward to Compensate for the lift. They change out your outer tie rods and make them straight and strong. I removed my swaybar because I like the way it handles Offroad. Even with it removed I can take an off ramp as fast as I want with no stability control. Well worth the money for. 40k truck. The beefier spindle is the BDS one the rough country one has holes all thru it being that it is pot cast DEA8ED40-D963-49C4-9012-E14F6CA0579E.jpg

I would really rethink that 6" Rough Country lift.

I like the look of your truck what is the lift height? It is just the right height I think. Those tires are just right too and fits the wheel well to proper proportion. What size are they? Did you have to put wheel spacers on? Just asking because i got mine a month ago and would like to start with lift and tires. What did you pay for the lift and tires?

Mmmm.... modern car electronics are pretty integrated and when it comes to safety equipment are intentionally very not modifiable.

That is funny cause my dealership here in Idaho is selling 3" lifted trucks. They also will install 3" level kits and install them without voiding your warranty. And the guy says they don't do anything with the TSS when these are installed.

    Too much.
I just put a small lift in mine (less than 1-1/2") and it has not affected my TSS.

This is true, I was told by a friend that works for a dealership that they are installing 3" Revtech lifts on the new tacomas they sell.

Just some useful info I learned today. I went to the dealer in search of a 2019 taco for my dad. And the rep said that factory guarantee remains valid if lifted 6” or less. He has an 18 lifted 6” himself he recently bought and showed me pictures of. He didn’t mention any tss issues
