Selling my taillights off of my 2008 tacoma. Really good condition with light scratches. Asking $50. Looking for local sale in Ventura county. Willing to ship on buyers dime.

They'll fit. These came on the 05-11 tacomas I believe. 12-15 had the led taillights.

05-08 had the incandescent, 09-15 had the LEDs

That said the LED tails have the same wire plugs as the incandescent so both versions of taillights will fit and work just fine on all years.

There's a few folks who have put the incandescent lights on their late model Tacomas as the LED lights are kind of ricey.

I kind of agree with that train of thought, they definitely look like something you'd see in fast and furious but I keep mine as they are brighter and in theory more reliable.

    Be seen be safe.

Good luck with the sale OP!

Not exactly. The wire harness that is on the back of the taillights is different between the OEM LED taillights and non LED taillights. According to the pics above, this seller is not including the mini harness that goes on the back of the taillights.

Here's my thoughts on the OEM LED taillights. The individual LEDS may be brighter, but they're not as noticeable when stopping because it's a bunch of tiny little dots. I feel that's why there's so many '09-'15 Tacos that get rearended.

I put REALLY bright LEDs in my '06 taillight housings and 3rd brake light. People know when I am stopping and turning. And if they're in front of me and being stupid, I hit them with my 8 Cadillac horns til they piss themselves.

Ok so i need the non led tails with the wiring included in the light. I had seen both options being sold on here before but some say its just plug and play. 8 Cadillac horns shit

On the mini harness on the back of the taillight, the non LED harness has a light socket for the tail/brake light. The LED mini harness has a wire connector for the wires that go inside the light for the LEDs.

The connector that connects to the main truck harness is the same for both types.
