IMG_20180419_194219.jpg I recently had these mounted on my SR 4x4 5spd in P 265/75/16. They ride much smoother than the hankook dynapro atm set that I had on before. Lots of weight to balance as others have noted, but the look is great as is the feel. I am concerned about how the tires will wear as others have experienced because the rubber felt noticeably soft. Time will tell, I can't wait to try them out on the dirt and snow. No vibrations up to 75 MPH, very satisfied so far.

10,500 miles and their first rotation. These are on a 3/4 ton truck that is not driven lightly nor on smooth pavement. Absolutely outstanding tire.

Nice truck! I also have an SR 4x4 but automatic. I have the same exact tires on mine and have had great and even wear after 15k miles. I keep them at around 32 psi and I’m sure you will love them in the snow. They did excellent this winter here in Ohio.

Have about 2000 miles on my 285/70R17s mounted on FN FX pro wheels and so far, I am quite pleased. Just about the most quiet tire I have used so far on the Tacoma; nice road feel, corners well (for a truck), has done well in spring snow and some heavy rain, and no vibrations or others at highway speeds up to 90mph for extended periods. Two of the tire/wheel combos only needed 3/4 oz to balance. Haven't taken them offroad yet other than packed dirt roads, but will do that a good bit later this spring and summer - and that will be with my RTT mounted as well.

2018 Tacoma, SR5 4wd, My question is the load rating, I tow about 3500 lbs. I also spend a lot of time off road, but mostly forest service, logging roads, nothing crazy. This is also my daily driver. But I do get off the beaten path on the occasional jeep trail. Which Wilderness AT3W tires would be better for me?
    Wildpeak A/T3W

LT265 /75 R16 123S E1 RBL or the 265 /75 R16 116T SL RBL, not sure if I need the beefer side wall and load rating?

I would go with the E rated.

what are you guys paying for yours mounted? I'm looking at LT285/70/17. It seems like every time I check pricing they shoot up!

Turns out the shop I got my tires mounted at originally had left off all of the center weights, ie sticky weights, and only weighted the lip with clip weights. I took it to discount tire and bought the lifetime balance & rotation and they said one tire was off almost 2 ounces. Needless to say I will be only going to my local discount tire from now on. All of my vibration above 60mph is gone, smooth as butter now.

Patiently waiting on another sale! I snagged the 265/70/17s for around $520 with certificates sometime in October or November for my 3rd gen, which has since been sold. Wanting the same size or the 285/70/17s for my new-to-me first gen. Can’t decide which size to get!

I knew 3rd Gens were bad, but it was bad enough to make you revert all the way back to a 1st Gen?

Has anyone had problems getting their new spare tire, WildPeak 265 X 75R 16's to fit in the under the bed spare tire holder? I am getting ready to order my new tires and was wondering if I was going to have enough room down there.

It seems there are mixed results with these tires. I installed a set of AT3Ws size 265/75/16 about 32k miles ago, it’s time for the 5k rotation and the tread depth is 8/32 on the front and 9/32 on the rear. My truck gets driven about 70/30 on vs off road, even though most of my driving is on highway the conditions vary drastically.

Still seeing very good wet and snow performance and I got them from @Discount Tire Direct

After multiple rounds of balancing, (including a road force balance), I think I'm over it.
The shimmy and vibration from these is just atrocious.
I can't say enough how amazing these tires look on the truck, but after all the trouble, I think I'm going to try something else.

2018 Tacoma, SR5, 4WD, just ordered my WildPeak tires 265 X 75R X 16" today from my local Discount Tire shop. $674 - out the door including tax, install, balance, replacement certificates, TPS overhaul and this was for 5 tires. I went ahead and ordered the same size for my spare and I will add that one into my tire rotation. This will add to the extended time of my tire life, spreading out the mileage between 5 tires and I will still have the correct spare for next time I order tires. Tires will be here in 3 to 5 days.

I just hope the 265 X 75 X 16" will fit without rubbing. I do not have a lift kit.

    Thank you Discount Tire!

I don’t think you will have a rubbing issue with this tire. I just put 265 x75’s on without a problem for a few days before lifting the front an 1-1/2. Your going to like them... nice ride and quiet. Don’t forget you have to decide if you want the raised letters in or out. I went with in.

Im getting mine mounted this week from discount tire. Do they do the alignment too after mounting? Or is this an added cost if you need it done

I used the under bed location for my spare, yes the 265/75 will fit a bit tightly but it fits.

Thought about Falkens, because they make great high performance tires that I have used in the past. After reading through this forum I think I'll stick with the good old reliable Goodyear Duratracs for my new wheels. Had my local Discount Tire order me a set of Fuel Vectors in Gunmetal to go along with 265/70/17s. Hopefully get them installed by the end of this week! :bananadance:
